Agenda 25 EC contains the novel active ingredient Fipronil which belongs to a brand new chemical group phenyl pyrazolers.
Formulation
Emulsifiable concentrate (EC) contains 25g (a.i) of Fipronil per liter
Active Ingredient:
fipronil: 5-amino-1-(2,6-dichloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)
phenyl)-4-((1,R,S)-(trifluoromethyl)sulfinyl)
-1-H-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile 2.5%

Mode of Action:
Agenda 25 EC is a contact and ingestion termiticide. The active ingredient “Fopronil” acts on the gamma amino butyric acid ” GABA ” receptor of the central nervous system “CNS” of insects by blocking the flow of chloride ions. This action is site specific in the “GABA” receptor causing hyper excitement and death of the insects.
The commonly used insecticides like carbamates , organophosphate and pyrethroids act on different part of the CNS and therefore there is to date no risk of cross resistance with insect treated.
